Football Recap: Strong Effort on D from Gage Kroft and Camden Pearson Leads Omaha Christian over Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer

Omaha Christian lost to Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Guardians secured a 28-22 W over the Titans. The Guardians' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Omaha Christian's defense made their presence known, laying out Bradyn Bowen. four times. The heavy lifting was done by Gage Kroft and Camden Pearson, who racked up all four sacks between them.

Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Alex Dewberry, who picked up 81 receiving yards and two scores. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making eight total tackles (3.0 for loss) and defending one pass. Bowen was another key player, throwing for 157 yards and three TDs.

Omaha Christian has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 35.0 points this season. As for Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
