Baseball Recap: Austin Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Austin's offense. They came up short against the Sparkman Senators on Tuesday, falling 13-0. The Black Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured ten defeats in a row.

Austin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Harville, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Austin's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Sparkman, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-16.

Austin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-1 defeat against Bob Jones on the 4th. As for Sparkman, they have also already played their next contest, a 6-4 loss against Grissom on the 3rd.
