Westside came tearing into Thursday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Laurens Raiders with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Westside never let Laurens on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 25-18.

Westside's win bumped their record up to 18-6-1. As for Laurens, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-15-2.

Westside wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Gaston Day on the 11th. As for Laurens, they will venture away from home to take on Emerald at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
