Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Metamora). They enjoyed a cozy 62-47 win over the Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Redbirds sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Metamora's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Abingdon/Avon, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Coming up, Metamora will square off against Bloomington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Abingdon/Avon, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Knoxville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Tornadoes' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
