Wesclin won the last time they faced Gibault Catholic and things went their way on Saturday too. The Warriors sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Hawks. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Haiden Mueller paced Wesclin's offense, picking up seven kills. Mueller really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 12.

Gibault Catholic's loss came despite strong showings from OLIVIA BIFFAR and AUBRY THOMAS. BIFFAR had nine digs and three aces, while THOMAS had 18 digs and two aces. THOMAS has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last six times she's played.

Wesclin's win bumped their record up to 19-12. As for Gibault Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season.
