Fuqua never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Amelia Academy Patriots with a sharp 15-0 win. Considering the Falcons have won seven contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Marissa Dempsey made a splash while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
