Basketball Recap: Stockton Christian Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Corbin Moore and Jayden Chamblee

Stockton Christian lost against Amador back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Stockton Christian Eagles might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Amador Buffaloes an easy 71-48 victory.

Stockton Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jayden Chamblee, who posted 20 points, and Corbin Moore, who earned 13 points. The contest was Chamblee's eighth in a row with at least ten points.

Stockton Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Amador, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Stockton Christian and Ripon will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Ripon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Stockton Christian likes a good challenge. As for Amador, they will take on Placer in a tournament on December 26th. Placer knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Amador likes a good challenge.
