Volleyball Recap: Cyprus Comes Up Short

The Cyprus Pirates lost 3-0 to the West Panthers on Thursday.

While Cyprus was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into West's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-22.

Cyprus' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for West, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Cyprus is taking a road trip to challenge Stansbury at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West, they will welcome Ben Lomond at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
