Red Springs has gone 9-1 against East Columbus recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Red Springs Red Devils will welcome the East Columbus Gators at 7:00 p.m. Red Springs will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Wednesday, Red Springs was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 41-37 to Cape Fear.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for East Columbus, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 64-39 margin over Jones on Monday. The Gators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 25 points or more this season.

Red Springs better keep an eye on Jaden Troy. He was instrumental in East Columbus' win, putting up 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The contest was Troy's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zay Hines, who posted eight points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

East Columbus moved to 3-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Red Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Red Springs took their victory against East Columbus in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 by a conclusive 74-52. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was East Columbus' Jaquise Smith, who went 7 of 15 en route to 20 points and six rebounds.
