Sky View is 9-1 against Logan since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bobcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Grizzlies at 4:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Sky View is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They had just enough and edged out Ogden 11-9. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Skyler Murdock, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Brady Max Johnson also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Logan and Summit Academy faced off in a Battle of the Bears on Friday. The Grizzlies won by a run and slipped past the Bears 7-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Grizzlies.

Logan's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Rylee Hoth, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Another was Tyler Garren, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Logan picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-10. As for Sky View, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

Logan's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Sky View hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .315. It's a different story for Logan, though, as they've only averaged .216. Will they be able to contain Sky View's hitters?

Sky View was able to grind out a solid victory over Logan in their previous matchup back in March, winning 5-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
