Basketball Recap: Kirtland Takes a Loss

Kirtland was the 59-49 winner over Andrews Osborne Academy when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Kirtland Hornets fell to the Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix 57-53.

Kirtland's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Andrews Osborne Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

When Kirtland and Andrews Osborne Academy next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Kirtland will try to stop Jefferson Area's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Andrews Osborne Academy will challenge John Hay and their three-game winning streak at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
