Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bullard). They put the hurt on the Coalinga Horned Toads with a sharp 3-0 win on Friday. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Horned Toads are ranked 704th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bullard hit Coalinga with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kevin Velasquez, Elijah Norman, and Jeremiah Valdez.

Bullard now has a winning record of 3-2-2. As for Coalinga, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3-1.

Bullard didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Lindsay on the 13th. Coalinga has also already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Riverdale on the 13th.
