After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Corry, Harbor Creek was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed past the Iroquois Braves to the tune of 42-8. The Huskies' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

It was another big night for Gavin Zillman, who rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries, and also caught one TD. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Landon Demarall, who rushed for 77 yards and one score on only nine carries.

When it comes to explaining why Iroquois lost, don't look at Mohammed Al-Hchaimi. Despite the final result, he rushed for 180 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

The victory snapped Harbor Creek's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-6 record. As for Iroquois, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
