There's no place like home for Chugiak, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 17-14 win over the Eagle River Wolves on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Luke Poland threw for 131 yards and one touchdown. Ahmir Walker was his top target, picking up 84 receiving yards and one TD.

Chugiak's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-5. As for Eagle River, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

As of now, neither Chugiak nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
