St. George had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Lausanne Collegiate on Thursday. The Gryphons were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Lynx. St. George's might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

The victory was the sixth in a row for St. George's, bringing their record up to 10-2-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 42 goals over those six matches. As for Lausanne Collegiate, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.
