Volleyball Preview: Warner Monarchs vs. Langford Lions        
        
		
             Warner is 10-0 against Langford since October of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Warner Monarchs will be staying on the road  to face off against the Langford Lions at 7:30  p.m. Langford took a loss in their last  match and will be looking to turn the tables on Warner, who comes in off a win.
 Warner is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another  one of South Dakota's top teams: Mobridge-Pollock, who was ranked 25th  in their home state at the time (Warner was ranked 12th). Warner put the hurt on Mobridge-Pollock with a sharp  3-0 victory on Friday.
 While Warner won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  second set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23,  25-14.
  Reagan Wood and  Libby Scepaniak were among the main playmakers for Warner as the former  had eight  digs and 23  assists and the latter  had 11  assists. Wood has been hot recently, having  posted 16 or more  assists the last three times she's  played.
 Meanwhile,  it was a proper cat-fight when  Langford faced off against Webster on Tuesday. Langford came up short against  Webster, falling  3-0. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
 The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15,  25-13.
 Warner's win was  their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 27-4. As for Langford, their defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 10-18.
 Warner took their  victory against Langford  when the teams last played  back in October of 2023 by a conclusive  3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Warner since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
