Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whittier RVT). Everything went their way against the Lawrence Lancers on Thursday as they made off with a 5-1 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 3-0.

The victory made it two in a row for Whittier RVT and bumps their season record up to 3-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two matchups. As for Lawrence, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whittier RVT will challenge Triton Regional at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lawrence, they will face off against Lowell at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
