Basketball Recap: Cordova Comes Up Short

Cordova was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 64-41 to the Arlington Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 66-27 back in January.

It was another big night for Zaria Moss, who almost dropped a double-double with 29 points and nine steals for Arlington. Moss continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Jordan Wirt was another key player, dropping a double-double with ten points and 11 rebounds.

Cordova's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Arlington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-13.

Cordova has already played their next contest (against Southwind), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Arlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
