Kalida waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They secured a 52-48 W over the Tinora Rams. 52 seems to be a good number for the Wildcats as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Kalida's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Avrie Unverferth, who went 5 of 6 en route to 15 points. Those 15 points gave Unverferth a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Meredith Bockrath, who went 5 for 12 on her way to 14 points and six boards.

Kalida pushed their record up to 13-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Tinora, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-9 record.

Kalida and Tinora should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Kalida (ranked 180th) will meet Leipsic (ranked 642nd) at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Tinora will face off against Hicksville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday up 336 places (276 vs. 612).
