Basketball Recap: Simsboro Comes Up Short

Simsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 61-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arcadia Hornets. The Tigers were probably out for revenge after losing 71-64 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Simsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Arcadia, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Simsboro will face off against Choudrant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Arcadia, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lincoln Prep at 7:00 p.m.
