Silver Lake entered their tilt with Deshler on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Dragons. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Silver Lake who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-18.

Sophie Schmidt had a dynamite game, getting 21 digs and three assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September.

Silver Lake's win bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Deshler, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, Silver Lake and Deshler will both be playing Franklin the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will host the Flyers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Dragons will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
