Los Gatos has gone a perfect 10-0 against Los Altos recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Things were looking good for Los Gatos after they put the first points on the board on Saturday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They lost 9-3 to Hollister.

Meanwhile, Los Altos got themselves on the board against Pioneer on Friday, but Pioneer never followed suit. They blew past the Mustangs 6-0. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won three matches by six runs or more so far this season.
The result came thanks to Aaron Baum's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Darrion Wesley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kai MacQuiddy, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one double.
Los Altos was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .357 or higher in three consecutive contests.
Los Gatos' defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Los Altos, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
Los Gatos was able to grind out a solid victory over Los Altos in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 7-3. Will Los Gatos repeat their success, or does Los Altos has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
