League recap: Claiborne scores huge upset over Cumberland Gap

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Cumberland Gap, who took down 183rd ranked Cumberland Gap, 16-11.

Greeneville was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from third to first in AA District 2. The Green Devils defeated Chuckey-Doak 42-6 earlier in the week.

Cumberland Gap's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Blake Franklin has thrown for 1163 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Dylan Gambel has 23 catches for 364 yards. Wesley Nance leads the league in rushing with 662 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Greeneville takes on Grainger. As it stands, Caine Ballard's team is in first, while the Grizzlies are in fourth.

The Green Devils took down the Black Knights 42-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
