Baseball Recap: Lincoln County Triumphs

Lincoln County got themselves on the board against Somerset Christian on Tuesday, but Somerset Christian never followed suit. They walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Cougars. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 13-2 on Tuesday.

The win made it two in a row for Lincoln County and bumps their season record up to 4-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Somerset Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln County will face off against Pulaski County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Somerset Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McCreary Central at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
