Basketball Recap: Bishop Kelley Triumphs

Bishop Kelley posted their closest win since February 13, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Catoosa Indians out 52-49. The Comets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Bishop Kelley has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Catoosa, their defeat ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-3.

Bishop Kelley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-52 loss against East Central on the 25th. Catoosa has also already played their next matchup, a 66-64 defeat against Kiefer on the 25th.
