Baseball Game Preview: Roy Royals vs. Box Elder Bees

The Roy Royals will face off against the Box Elder Bees at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.

Roy lost 14-7 to Woods Cross on Monday.

Meanwhile, Box Elder might've scored the first runs on Monday, but it was Bountiful who claimed the real prize. The Bees took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the RedHawks.

Box Elder saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Korbin Jeppesen, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Roy's record now sits at 7-7. As for Box Elder, their record is now 3-10.

Roy suffered a grim 15-1 defeat to Box Elder in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Royals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
