Volleyball Recap: Medina Comes Up Short

If Medina was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Archbishop Hoban last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Medina lost 3-0 to the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Battling Bees in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Stow-Munroe Falls scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 25-20.

Medina's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Medina will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Shaker Heights at 6:00 p.m. on April 1. The contest will give Medina their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Stow-Munroe Falls, they will face off against Olentangy Liberty at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
