It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Franklin can now relate to. They fell just short of the Indian Trail Hawks by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Sabers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Kaitlyn Marx paced Franklin's offense, picking up 19 kills. Marx got some help from Macie Keller and her 22 assists. Marx also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Allie Sobocinski, each putting up four.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 16-22. As for Indian Trail, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-9.

Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Indian Trail has already played their next contest (against Oak Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
