Volleyball Recap: Reeds Spring Wolves vs. Fair Grove Eagles

Reeds Spring was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Fair Grove Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Kaelee Howe paced Reeds Spring's offense, picking up eight kills. Howe got some help from Stephanie Westerhold and her 22 assists. Westerhold was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Fair Grove was led to victory by Leila Huff and Addyson Nunley. Huff had 16 digs and two assists, while Nunley had 11 digs. Huff is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Reeds Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 7-28-3. As for Fair Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-11-3 record this season.

Reeds Spring does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fair Grove, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Strafford on the 23rd.
