There's no place like home for Gordon Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 62-55 win over the Armuchee Indians on Tuesday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Armuchee's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Trenton Cothran, who went 11 of 20 to rack up 29 points, and Will Pethel, who posted ten points along with eight assists and four steals. Those eight assists gave Pethel a new career-high.

Gordon Central's win bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Armuchee, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-18.

Gordon Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 66-31 victory against Dalton Academy on the 6th. As for Armuchee, they have also already played their next contest, a 69-45 loss against Chattooga on the 7th.
