Volleyball Recap: Pecos Comes Up Short

Pecos was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Midland Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Eagles have suffered since August 26th.

Pecos took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-9, 25-10.

Zarilynn Archuleta paced Pecos' offense, picking up four kills. Archuleta got some help from Brooke Garcia and her four assists.

Pecos' loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Midland, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-7.

Coming up, Pecos will face off against Presidio at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Midland, they will square off against Wylie at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
