While Eagle's victory against Meridian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Warriors on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won eight in a row.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:three sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 19-25, 30-28, 28-26, 25-27, 15-13.

Eagle's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Meridian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eagle is set to challenge their familiar foe Borah at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Meridian will square off against rival Boise at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
