Soccer Game Preview: Macomb vs. Jacksonville + How To Watch

Macomb hasn't had much luck against Jacksonville recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Bombers are taking a road trip to square off against the Crimsons at 11:00 a.m. Macomb has given up an average of 5 goals per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Macomb managed to slip by Abingdon/Avon the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bombers came up short against the Tornadoes on Tuesday, falling 8-0. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Macomb struggled afterwards.

Meanwhile, Jacksonville hasn't lost a match since September 2nd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Monday. Neither they nor Quincy could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Jacksonville's goal came courtesy of Harrison Alexander, who's now up to two this season.

Macomb's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. Jacksonville's draw gives them a new season record of 9-2-2.

Macomb might still be hurting after the 4-1 defeat they got from Jacksonville in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Bombers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
