Volleyball Recap: Kearney Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Kearney, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the North Platte Bulldogs 3-0 on Thursday. The Bearcats haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Kearney walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-12, 25-18.

Merrick Bruce had an outrageously good game as she had 12 digs and six aces. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six matchups. Anna Geluso was another key player, getting 11 digs.

Kearney's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for North Platte, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-19.

Kearney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Lincoln Northeast on the 11th. As for North Platte, they will challenge McCook at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are facing the Bison at the right time seeing as the Bison are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
