Softball Recap: Communication Media Arts Comes Up Short

The Communication Media Arts Pharaohs came up short against the Edison Academy Pioneers on Monday and fell 7-3. The Pharaohs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Communication Media Arts' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Edison Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Communication Media Arts will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on East English Village Prep at 4:30 p.m. on May 5. As for Edison Academy, they will face off against Trillium Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Trillium Academy has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.17 runs per game on average), something Edison Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of.
