Softball Recap: Oceanside's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Oceanside won the last time they faced Canyon Crest Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates blew past the Ravens 11-5. The win was familiar territory for the Pirates, who have now won five games in a row.

Oceanside let Anaiah Filo and Hannah Narcy run wild. Filo went 3-for-5 with four RBI, one run, and one double, while Narcy went 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Meliah Poumele-Flores, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Oceanside was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .389. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The victory got Oceanside back to even at 10-10. As for Canyon Crest Academy, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-11-1.
