Basketball Game Recap: Atkinson County Rebels vs. McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers

The Atkinson County Rebels lost to the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers back in January, but the Atkinson County Rebels didn't allow the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers the same satisfaction on Tuesday. Atkinson County came out on top against McIntosh County Academy by a score of 60-51.

Atkinson County found their leader in underclassman Ja'Kari Northcutt, who scored 28 points. The match was Northcutt's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kamari Moore, who scored 10 points.

Atkinson County now has a winning record of 2-1. As for McIntosh County Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Atkinson County will head out on the road to face off against Brantley County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McIntosh County Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Groves at 5:00 p.m.
