Abbeville Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. They claimed a resounding 54-26 victory over the Trinity Christian Eagles. This was payback for the Generals, who suffered a 53-46 loss the last time these two teams met.

Abbeville Christian Academy can attribute much of their success to Dee Glover, who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Buckhannon, who posted ten points and five rebounds.

Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Abbeville Christian Academy has already played their next contest, a 78-49 win against Edgewood Academy on the 24th. As for Trinity Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-50 victory against Wiregrass on the 25th.
