Basketball Recap: Western Yell County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Oark last Tuesday, Western Yell County came back down to earth. The Western Yell County Wolverines took a 49-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Scranton Rockets on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Wolverines can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while the Rockets are ranked 98th).

Western Yell County now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Scranton, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

Western Yell County has already played their next contest (against Oden), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Scranton has also has no score uploaded for their next matchup, this one against Oark.
