Preview: Tri-Cities Prep vs. White Swan
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Tri-Cities Prep. On Friday they take on White Swan at White Swan HS at 7:00 PM. Tri-Cities Prep don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
Tri-Cities Prep might be getting used to good results now that the squad have six wins in a row. They had enough points to win and then some against Columbia last Friday, taking their match 30-12. Senior Nate Dituri, who rushed for 128 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in Tri-Cities Prep's success. This marked the 5th match in which Dituri has rushed for over 100 yards.
Meanwhile, White Swan were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their game against Mabton. White Swan took a 8-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mabton.
Tri-Cities Prep didn't have too much trouble with White Swan the last time the two teams met as they won 28-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tri-Cities Prep since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
