Basketball Game Preview: Colonel Richardson Colonels vs. Washington Jaguars

The Colonel Richardson Colonels will challenge the Washington Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Colonel Richardson will be strutting in after a victory while Washington will be coming in after a loss.

Last Monday, Colonel Richardson was able to grind out a solid win over Sussex Tech, taking the game 69-56. That's two games straight that the Colonels have won by exactly 13 points.

Meanwhile, Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The contest between them and Woodbridge didn't end well, with Washington falling 70-51. While losing is never fun, the Jaguars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 231st in Maryland, while the Raiders are ranked 25th in Delaware).

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Colonel Richardson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
