Eastmoor Academy has gone a perfect 10-0 against Independence recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Warriors will head out to face off against the 76ers at 5:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Eastmoor Academy put up the most runs they have all season two weeks ago. They were the clear victors by a 26-2 margin over Walnut Ridge. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, Independence had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They blew past Africentric Early College 17-5 on Monday. Considering the 76ers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The victory (which was Eastmoor Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Independence, their victory bumped their record up to 2-7.

Everything went Eastmoor Academy's way against Independence when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Eastmoor Academy made off with a 19-4 win. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the 76ers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
