Softball Recap: Panther Valley Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Panther Valley's offense. They lost 12-0 to the Pine Grove Cardinals on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Panthers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Panther Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Pine Grove, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Panther Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 12-0 loss against Tamaqua on the 15th. As for Pine Grove, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Mahanoy Area on the 14th.
