Volleyball Recap: Anthony Wayne Falls Short Against Ranked Springfield

Anthony Wayne faced Springfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Generals lost 3-0 to the Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-18, 25-17.

Anthony Wayne has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for Springfield, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.
