Basketball Recap: Nash Central Bulldogs vs. Bunn Wildcats
Nash Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 73-37 loss at the hands of the Bunn Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-46 back in January.
Bunn was led to victory by CJ Kearney and Josiah Rice. Kearney dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten assists, while Rice went 6 of 10 to rack up 20 points and seven boards. The dominant performance also gave Kearney a new career-high in shooting accuracy (70%). Isaac Bailey was another key player, going 6 for 9 on his way to 13 points and five rebounds.
Nash Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Bunn, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.
