Softball Recap: Nanuet Golden Knights vs. Nyack Red Hawks
Nanuet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Nyack Red Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Nanuet of the 11-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
For Nyack's part, Gianna Longo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched.
