Soccer Recap: Buena Vista Takes a Loss

Buena Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Millard South Patriots. Buena Vista were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Millard South apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Buena Vista's goal came courtesy of Brandon Duarte, who's now up to two this season.

Buena Vista's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Millard South, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Buena Vista has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Westview on the 9th. As for Millard South, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 7-0 win against Omaha Northwest on the 9th.
