Alto entered their tilt with Mt. Enterprise on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Wildcats. Considering the Yellowjackets have won six matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Lacey Stephenson was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Stephenson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, Jenna Duplichain was incredible, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4. What's more, she posted two doubles, the most she's had since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ashley Black, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.
