Softball Recap: Meadowbrook Takes a Loss

Meadowbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Prince George Royals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Monarchs of the 21-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Meadowbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Prince George, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.

Meadowbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prince George, they will head out on the road to challenge Colonial Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
