Basketball Recap: Stockdale Takes a Loss

Stockdale lost against Frontier back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Stockdale Mustangs took a blow against the Frontier Titans, falling 66-38. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since January 31, 2024.

Frontier's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kai Wilkins, who went 6 of 12 en route to 19 points. That's the most points Wilkins has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Garnett, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 18 points and eight rebounds.

Stockdale has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Frontier, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Stockdale will square off against Garces Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Frontier, they will face off against North at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. North will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Frontier surely won't give up without a fight.
